@ Chicago Tribune: Google Logo Tweak Sends Critics Into Orbit
I really had to roll my eyes at this article. Basically, last week Google modified it’s logo to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Sputnik satellite launch. Some conservatives seem to have an issue with this. They say that Google is honoring an achievement by a totalitarian regime, and Google is also not honoring other holidays like Memorial Day. They go on and on about how Google bows to countries like China, support Democrats, but not Republicans. (Why don’t they just come out and say Google is a terrorist, wanting communism, and clubs baby seals for fun?)
