As much as I sometimes complain about my job, it’s OK. It’s dead-end and doesn’t pay enough, but for what it’s worth, it’s not all that bad. Though, lately I’ve been questioning that statement, because of some of the crap that’s been going on.

Two things ‘holiday-related’ have bugged me lately. The first, is that our team voted to go to what I feel is an overly-expensive place to eat. At well-over $50 a person for a dinner (after you count drinks and what not), I think in these times, going out for such a dinner with fellow employees is a bit much. The ‘reasoning’ I heard for the majority vote is that they wanted to go somewhere ‘nice.’ Pfft, whatever! Apparently we have a few people that want to show-off. I could take that money I’d spend on this ‘dinner,’ and have my own party for a group of friends, complete with booze and much more enjoyable company. More >
